So I am sitting here at the computer VERY sore! My new word for the day is EXPLOSIVE! Nothing around here has blown up and my husband and I haven't had one of our occasional heated discussions. The explosive I am referring to is my new kettle bell work out. (They say the moves should be explosive...OH MY!!!)
My husband is into crossfit training. He loves it. And a friend of mine recently mentioned that a friend of hers started using a kettle bell and was totally getting in shape. So when my sweet heart recently went to a sale on equipment, he was kind enough to pick me up...not one, not two, but 3 kettle bells. It wasn't as easy as it looked. I did two sets 12-15 of each set. My kids cheered and counted for me. When I had baby #3 I was up to 225 pounds. UGH! Today on the scale I weighed 175 lbs. YEAH! I cheered inside. I CAN do hard things. I am more than half way to my goal. Another 45 pounds to go. In two pounds I will be to the pre-pregnancy weight of child #1, but I won't be quite satisfied. However, more than just losing weight, this time I want to be fit. Today was a good start in the right direction.
I challenge you to try hard things. I KNOW Y O U can do it!!!
