Day ELEVEN...
I am grateful for the sweet peace of sabbath days at our home. They are not perfect and the getting ready for church part is a little crazy. But I love sitting together in a pew on Sunday. I love children talking about things like learning to be kind, love Jesus, pray to Heavenly Father and Choose Right choices. I love having dear friends come for dinner. One of our sweet friends recently lost his wife. He came and shared our dinner with us. We had a great time and the children are always blessed from having "grandparents" over. He is grandpa age and tells them stories and shares about his grandchildren. It was so nice to have him here. We all packed up...our guest included and headed to our two older children's piano recital. They have one, no stress recital in April each year. I adore their piano teacher. I need a whole separate day of gratitude just for her! Anyway, they did beautifully! They played the best they ever have and we were as proud as a peacock and a peahen! Bravo to these talented children. Sibling #3 can't wait to start lessons, just a bit more than a year for him. Life is so beautiful, we are so blessed. I am thankful for sweet sabbaths!
Changing the world...ONE letter at a time!
Ahh, sounds like a nice, relaxing day. TFS.
