The nice thing about homeschooling is working homework around other people's breaks. When our break doesn't match with friends we see them and do our homework around their visit. Today we had a lovely two hour block break with our dear friends. It seems we only get to see/play with them during breaks or summer. So it is a special treat to all get together. A park with sand was selected and a nice little group of them circled around to build "sand castles". It was fun to visit with their mother my dear and T.F.F. and to watch them all interacting. Truly a beautiful part of life and living is the relationships we forge. Those relationships take TIME. Nothing else replaces the gift of self, NOTHING...no money, presents, or toys. The gift of self is the most precious and valuable gift we can give. Thank you to our dear friends for giving the gift of one of their vacation days to us! We treasure it and value YOU and YOUR TIME!
